Hey did you know there was a Maserati beside your truck in that last pic? I think your truck was photo bombed! Sweet ride..I'll be borrowing some of those ideas for my build for sure. Wow..nice work.

where did you buy your tow mirrors? I've been thinking about getting some
I searched around here for a dealer that would put them on for me or if they had them for my truck. Turns out you can only get them on a 1500 if you order them directly from the factory while building your own truck. So I was on vacation down in South Carolina and I found a dealer that was willing to try to put on this set which was originally from a brand new 2500. Only thing is I had to wire the running light and cargo light my self, besides that the power fold, tilt, blinker and all that worked once they installed it!

Thank you to all! For everyone who's wondering about the GMC Light up. I have a buddy that makes them. I was one of the first to put it to use and get it out there. Certainly turns heads! He has GMC and Chevy ones available.

NOW,
They are all separate lights and letters as you know,
You have to drill out the existing stock letters one at a time,
After thats done you can run the wires through the back of the letters (might have to drill little holes to run wire),
I have my wires ran to the wireless remote receiver (included w/ remote),
From that I ran it to a switch my sPOD so it's only on when I want it to be.

If you guys want one or some pics feel free to PM me!
Its on the 1st page Rio09SLE

You have a really nice truck. I do not understand why you put "built not bought" in your post title, unless you are building all your mods from scrap
