New to the fourms but I have a 2006 chevy Z71 and just noticed that while driving on the interstate I can feel a very minor vibration in the steering wheel

Is that a question or are you just letting us know about it?

Could be a bad tire, an out of balance tire, a bad shock, etc. Try rotating your tires to see if the location origin of the vibration moves. If it does, it is a tire/balance issue. If it doesn't move locations, it's a mechanical problem likely due to worn parts.

That's what my buddy said to do with the tires the fronts are new 0ct2019 when I bought them I know that don't mean to much tire belts could go bad anytime like I said its not annoying just that's the vibrations are there and I don't want it to get any worse than what it is aready

Is a truck its not a caddi I know that lol

I have had this problem in my 1999 2wd for a long time now at least 5-6 months. I have rotated and balanced my tires and changed my center support bearing (that was free that's why I did it at the recommendation of my mechanic) this helped for a few weeks maybe but now the vibration just comes and goes sometimes it is heavy sometimes it is not. I have reason to believe it is my front shocks and I would recommend you take a look at yours to see if maybe they need replacing.
