alright guys, what's up?

I just finally installed some new tail lights on my '05 silverado.
I muse say it's a definite improvement.

my only concern is that I really don't want them to fade/oxidize and lose their luser.

I've considered just waxing them, but is there any other ideas you might have that would prevent that yellowing look?

Keeping them waxed usually helps, though cheaper plastics on aftermarket heads/tails will oxidize eventually even with wax. If they start oxidizing, you can use a headlight repair kit to sand and polish them back.

I've run those same lights on mine for a couple years now. They definitely do a lot for light visibility. As for keeping them from oxidizing, I'm not sure there's anything you can really do to completely keep that from happening, but maybe someone else will have a secret weapon to share.

I'll definitely wax them a bit when i get the chance
But they were 125$, I think in 3-4 years if they're faded or rough lookin, I'll just get another set eh?

those look great. Who made the lights you installed? I've got an 05 and have the same issues many OEM's seem to get and need to replace them.

I thought about replacing my tail lights but they are all made in China. I'm sorry but I'm not goin to put cheap Chinese crap on my truck

Well the ones currently in your truck are probably made in Mexico or china anyway.

Could you post a few more pictures? I have been looking at aftermarket ones for my '06 but haven't found any that beat the look of the stock ones IMO.
