I just bought a 2009 Silverado Crew Cab with 87,000 miles. I am hoping to make some upgrades in the near future starting with the audio system.

Welcome, that's a sweet low mileage clean looking truck for the year!

Few things

Dont get the pioneer DMH1770-NEX, its appealing price wise but longevity is a reflection of that.
Get AFM turned off via range or tune or if you plan to keep a while maybe even a full hardware delete.
I am almost certain on those wheels you can pull the chrome clad off and they look better to me but its a little more involved for the cleanup.
