Bought a new set of wheels for the summer tires and some snows for the stock wheels. The tire dealer put the stock rims/snows on the truck, but today I decided to put the summer wheels on until the weather gets a bit worse.

The summer wheels have new TPMS sensors in them. I thought I would get a warning light since I just switched wheels and did nothing else, but, no warning lights. I am getting tire pressure readings, so the new sensors seem to have worked all on their own, no reprogramming required :p . The truck is a 2013.

They are American Racing wheels. I really like them compared to the chrome steel wheels it came with.

Anybody know why the TPMS sensors worked without reprogramming? I was expecting that I would need to buy the tool.
