i have an 07 nnbs 2500 hd and was thinking about going to led and the person i talked to at super bright leds said i may have to do some cutting has anybody had to do any trimming to get these lights mounted in and also how far does the motor stick out from the back of the h/l assy all help greatly appreciated https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinf ... -fan/2115/

Typically you cannot fit the light housing bulb access cover back on after LED's are installed. That is where the cutting comes into play. Or customize it like I did on my wifes SUV. I made a mold out of aluminum foil and coated it with 2 part epoxy.

thanks mine does not have a cover on them and the other silverados i have looked at do not have a cover over them that is what is throwing me
