Because from what I've heard in some vids, stuff like Lucas injector cleaner and others, won't work because it's direct port injection. So it can't help clean up the gunk from the pcv valve dumping oil into the manifold.

I’ve had my upr dual valve catch can for five years no oil burned or consumed at all 🐥
