I'm looking for cheap mods for my truck, and I've seen the NBS with the front grille painted the body color where the chrome is now. Is it just me or would this look great on my truck with my color? I've also thought about blacking out the grille in a gloss black. What do you guys thing? Anyone ever seen anything like this? If so, pics please!
Well, not much help but I also have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer LT that had the center grill chromed and I painted it to the body color. It was not very hard if you have the right equipment, but in the TB the part is plastic so not sure how this would transfer. Just make sure if you do it to get the correct etching agent, primer and paint. In my opinion yes to the body color grill, no to the black-out.
