Not really familiar with what I have under the back of my truck. There seems to be two options for a 8.6 and 9.5 rear with either 30 or 33 spline axles. Since I got my Duramax, and this 03 hasn't sold. I am doing some work to it to make a highway cruiser and part of that process is adding a limited slip rear to compliment some extra power I will be adding later. Any help with what the truck has, or how to identify, is huge! Thanks!

look at rear end see 10 bolts you have a 10 bolt see 14 bolts you have a 14 bolt.
10 = 8.6
14=9.5

Stock tires go with 4.10 and a trutrac for posi, or a if you want a locker there are other options, you'll just have to read up and see which one has characteristics you like best.
