I am installing a Whelen mini light bar on my back rack and I was wondering for the power can I connect my wire to the stud inside the fuse box that is intended for the 12V power for the 7-pin instead of connection it to the battery. I plan on running an in-line 10amp fuse.

I have my moose lights wired there with an in line fuse and it works fine.

That would work, as semicrazy stated.

If you opt for the HD package snow-plow-switch, you can run it from the dash like I'm planning.
