I do like n8dh does except that I will put it in 4auto when I am driving in rapidly changing conditions. I am thinking maybe a few hundred miles a year (winter).

When in 4auto part of the system is constantly engaged which causes unecessary wear on the system. If it didn't matter they could do with out the 2high completely
