Z-71 = 4X4 raising the front will give more clearance underneath. I scraped mine on a hunt and quickly installed a 2 1/2 inch leveling on the front. More clearance and looks level too. Good luck

Look at some pics on here. There are lots of pics of raised and lowered trucks. I am a fan of the lowered look, because I will never be off the road or haul anything real heavy and the lowered trucks are easy to get in and out. :D

I also have the 2" belltech shackles, love the look and handling.

2wd - Lower the rear
4x4 - Raise the front

I lowered the rear on my 2wd and I love it. I used the 2" drop shackles from Auto Zone. It wad very easy to install and the results are exactly what I wanted. It rides smoother, handles and corners better, lowered the tailgate, I can see better in reverse, easier to get in and out of, etc., I could go on and on. The only reason I would EVER raise a truck is if I wanted to put larger tires.
