Hi, first time poster and just joined the forums.

I have a 2006 Silverado 2500 HD. I love the truck and strictly use it for hauling.

I have had the truck for about a year and the seat belt is extremely uncomfortable. I am 6’ 6” and the seat belt doesn’t fit me properly.

I am looking for a way to raise the seat belt or raise the back of the seat.

I am getting to the point where I’m thinking about just buying a newer truck where the seat belt is off the seat.

Kind of a minor complaint but I have some long hauls where comfort is nice. I also will tuck the seat belt under my arm but prefer safety when hauling large loads.

Thanks!

Probably would be easier/safer/faster to trim some foam out of the seat bottom.

That said, IDK, I'm 6'5", and the only problem for me with the belt is that it doesn't retract reliably.
