I just installed a Ready Lift leveling kit in my 2000 Silverado 1500. Can anyone explain the reason for the shorter bolts that come with the kit? Can you use the longer stock bolts safely to get more lift?
I would assume that's where Ready Lift would like for you to stop cranking you T-Bars. I would guess they thought cranking any more with stock bolts, since new keys are reindexed for more lift. That going beyond that would put your cv angles at a very bad angle and extend your shocks to full length. You probably need shock extensions anyway....
