Alright y'all, I am getting ready to install my new Beltronics radar detector and I was wanting to tap directly into the rear view mirror to power it. My grandpa has done it this way on his truck, but my rear view mirror is a little bit different in wiring than his is. Mine is for a 2013 Sierra with onstar and the reverse camera in the mirror. I was just wondering if any of y'all had a wiring diagram or a list of pin outs handy that I could use.

You want Pin 13 for 12V ignition and Pin 8 for ground.

Order a part called a mirror tap, designed for your radar or camera. Also a clean mount I use is the blendmount.

I have the part and mount already. I'm offshore and wanted to attempt to tie the tap in when I get home, so I was wondering exactly which pin #'s are the 12 v and ground before I got back.
