I was driving around all day in 4 wheel drive, but I backed in to my drive way to unload and as I drove out the rear passenger wheel locked up. I took it out of 4 wheel drive and it wss fine. Tried it again and same thing hapoened. Only 6k on 2016 truck. Deallership has no idea why and can't get it to do it again.

Was it "skipping" when you turned? The locker may have been engaged.

At this point, had you experienced HSA (Hill Start Assist)? Page 294 in the 2017 OM.

No idea why 4 wheel drive would act like that on the rear except for something to do with the locker. Even then I'm not sure the locker has anything to do with 4 wheel drive unless it detects a slip. That is weird. It also sounds dangerous if it's not right.
Parking brake hanging maybe ?
Doesn't hill assist disable at throttle ?
