I found a picture of my old 2009 that also had the steps. They were farther back. But the stickers on the bars show the driver's side as the one farther forward so I think they were mislabeled.

 

What rims are those?

 

Toward the back looks way better in my opinion. Nice truck.

 

It looks better towards the middle of the door. But if I was installing a new step, I would get one that would extend to the bed as well. It's a pain trying to take cargo out of the front of the bed.

Picture 2 looks better. Mine have been on about 5 years and now I'm thinking they are backwards.....

I think this is proper now. Glad I found this post.

 

Another vote for the 'more to the rear' version.

That said. I'm also a fan of boards rather than tubes.

 

Second picture looks right.

 

Those are Ultra wheels, I think Rouge is the model but they were around $125 a wheel when I got them 6-7 years ago. 17x8 with close to stock offset so they tucked in pretty good.
