Alright, so it has been roughly 4 months since i drove my truck home for the first time. I have taken a couple pictures since that first day and thought I'd share them with you guys for S and G's. Hope you guys like the short story of the truck i now call Barney. :mrgreen:

It is a 2008 Silverado Lt 4x4 with 116k miles and im the second owner. Both I and the previous owner drive 50+ miles a day for work so that 116k is mostly highway miles. The technical GM color for it is Dark Cherry Metallic, but most of my friends say its: Purple, Black, Brown, Maroon or Red. And depending on the light it can be all those colors. So here are a few pics that I've taken just to show you hows its looked after 4 month of light survey and field work and a little bit of fun.

Small list of things coming: 33" Goodyear Duratracs, HID headlights, window tints, blacked out bowties, new wheels

Great looking truck! I saw one that color the other day and mentioned to my wife how I liked that color too. How much rake do you have with the lift you've got? I'd like to do a lift and keep some if not most of the rake.

I haven't taken any measurements but there definitely is a rake. Since i sometimes haul stuff i needed to maintain the rake so it didn't sag backwards with a load. I'm sure it helps a little bit with MPG too but if it does i'm sure its barely noticeable. I will take some measurements this weekend once i put my new shoes on.

Seriously, nice pics, love the flex shot. Get those new wheels on there (says the man that has been holding off on his for nearly a year)!!!! I'm likely have the guys at 4wheelparts in Parma change mine out in the spring.

EDIT: and actually the only pictures from the cleveland area are the ones in my driveway. the others are at work in the akron area
