So without going into much detail on how it happened… i accidentally metabo'd into my condenser back in November hunting season. Fast forward to now. Its frikin hot . I only drive this truck about 2k a yr, so not in it . Anyway i know i need a new condenser. Its already been converted to 134a. Buddy who owns a chop shop for import cars also has a couple 99-06 sierras with condenser still in them. Told me i can have one if it will work.

Any of you ever robbed a condenser off a different vehicle & retrofitted it ?

FWIW i am on gmt400 .com and this is cross posted there. But since i need some gmt800 help figuring id come here

Measure the length and width of each and go from there. I'm sure that if they are close in size, you should be able to mount it using some homemade brackets. Also, make sure the fittings are the same.

Well, look at the fittings on the bad condenser or take pictures of them and then compare to the new condenser.
