ok, I will start with truck info.. 2007 LT Z71 2WD New body style.
I put 20" XD Series Rockstars and 275/55R20 Cooper Zeon LTZs. Love the setup, however, I am rubbing in the front. Discount tire suggested a leveling kit but I am also thinking about adding some lift in the rear. I do not do any off roading this is purely for looks (and to stop the rubbing in the front)
I have been looking at the Rough Country 1305, their site says it is a new product and I can't find any info about it on here. Here is the description right from RC...
"This new design utilizes our popular 2" Lower Strut Extensions combined with a set of strut spacers and rear blocks to achieve a total of 2.5" of lift - enough clearance to run up to a 285/70/17 tire - all at a price that won't break the bank! This kit includes a set of Fabricated 2" Rear Blocks to replace the OEM 1" block. Fabricated blocks offer a longer lifespan than cast blocks and are less susceptible to damage and the environment."
Does anyone have any experience with this kit? Is it considered a cheap lift kit? Will it create more wear and tear then just a leveling kit? Would I need new shocks?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, if I missed a thread somewhere a link to that would be awesome too!
Thanks everyone, looking to make a decision soon, the rubbing is getting annoying..
