After replacing my shattered windshield and vacuuming all visible surfaces and down into AC ducts , my family is still getting glass shards and dust embedded in their skin and hair from the AC . I’ve used a 1/2 hose attached to shop vac and gone as far as I can into ducts but still keeps coming . Any advice would be helpful

I hate that for you, it has to suck.

More so than anything I can imagine it being dangerous for your eyes.

Good luck on getting that worked out.

Operate the defrost while blowing on high (and you not in the line of fire. Maybe pull the blower motor and use a powerful blower or compressed air to blow around in there.

how did all the broken glass come to be inside the cab in the first place?

Like mentioned that is very dangerous for the eyes. I have been in the ER twice for something stuck in my eye. Not pleasant.

I would go as far as taking the dash off and seeing if you can get the ducts loose and wash them out/blow them out really good. If it got down in the ducts I would want to clean as much of the system as I could get too. Then you could maybe run the ac on high with the ducts off to hopefully get any leftovers out.
