If you do it, I would also put in a drain plug for the pan if it's not there, so you can can just drain the fluid yourself in the future like an oil change.

You can do this yourself, although it can be messy. When I do a drain on a pan with no drainplug, I just loosen the bolt a bit, and squeeze in a pump hose or turkey baster or syringe like this:

Then I can get most of it out before I finally drop the pan, very little mess then. Then I put in a drain plug.

Don't need a lot of tools to get it dropped and drained and refilled.
