Hey Family,

I've finally decided to re-gear my 2013 GMC 1500 SLE CrewCab 4x4 with w 6" BDS and 35x12.5x20 with 6 speed transmission to get it back to stock power - I'm going to go with 4.10/4.11 - It's my daily driver - maybe 100 mils a week and tow a 24' center console proline that is roughly 3500 lbs maybe 20 times at most a summer in Florida. What are some of the best brands to go with, I've deep dived into reviews and leaning toward Yukon. Any insight or suggestions would be greatly apricated!

Thanks!

AAM, the folks who made our axles or Yukon Gear or ACDelco. The rest are noisy even when set up right. 4.10s will make it like it had 3.73s on stock wheels. Doing the same with our Sierra which has 3.73s someday.

Thanks! I'm going to go with Yukon and the Eaton Truetrac differential - still debating on 4.10 vs 4.56 tho

Dont fear the gear. 35s I would go with 4.56s all day.

I ran 4.11s and 4.56s on 33s and liked both although I got a tiny bit better mileage on the 4.11s with the shorter tire.

You will also like the truetrac, its what I did when going to the 4.56s

4.56s on 35s are like 4.10s on stock tires. That'll raise your cruise RPMs at 70 mph from about 1750 now with 3.42 and stock tires to 2100 with 35s and 4.56s.
