Continued the tinkering today...

High beam...one halogen and one cree LED...

New LEDs on low beam...

And high beam...

If I can find a hot wire that's only hot while engine running, I can wire up lights to have outer crescents as DRL...

Battery went dead last night, had to run to autozone at closing time to get a battery. Talk about a pain in the arse to replace.

Yeah much harder. aside from the cross brace, you have to loosen the coolant tank, remove the junction box on top of the battery, and still try to wedge it through that space

I wonder why they would do that.
So that people would rather take the truck to the stealer to have it changed. Haven't had to change mine yet as the PO put a brand new Interstate on it a couple of months before I bought the truck, so hopefully I'm good to go for a while. PITA to change, for sure. NNBS is peanuts.

Agh.. that's probably true. What a pain.
I think the worst one I've ever been involved in was changing the headlight bulbs on an 08-12 Chevy Malibu my friends mom had.. We looked up the instructions and it has you remove part of the front bumper, in order to remove the headlight housing, in order to change the bulb.. I'm like; excuse me - what?

Yeah my Ram you had to take the whole front end off; grill, upper bumper, and upper trim just to change head light bulbs

Got the DRL feature of these new headlights wired up & tapped into engine bay fuse box using a fuse tap pigtail on spot that's only "hot" while ignition in start / run position...

Did a few things over the last 4 days.

b: new engine oil cooler lines (leaking)

d: front differential gear oil change
e: rear differential gear oil change
f: oil change & filter
f: Fluid Film the underside (headed into winter)

That is it,, until I think of something else........

I wasn't aware Tomi was big on auctions.....Enlighten us please, Tomi!

Also, a closeup of the picture revealed a dent above the right bedside 4X4 decal. What's up with that?
