What is the dumbest thing you've seen today?

A fisherman in Australia made a costly blunder when he went to fill up the gas tank of his boat at a 7-Eleven in West Pennant Hills, New South Wales. He mistook a rod holder for the gas tank, and the end result was not pretty.

With the nozzle securely sitting in the rod holder, 231.46 liters of gasoline poured onto the floor of the boat and into the bilge

I have seen a lot of dumb stuff on here but I saw something today at work that blows that stuff away. I never thought I'd see anything worse than accidently applying for a loan or asking if you should pour conditioner into your washer fluid but today was the day.
I unfortunately cannot post it here, but I just wanted all those on here that I gave hell to in the past know that it is indeed possible to do something even dumber.

Had to go to the courthouse today and saw this. It is a 3 story courthouse built in 1919. They installed a hand rail next to the old hand rail but only going down, on the way up there was only the original. I guess they never seen Joe Biden on stairs before 🤣
