I just added the DIC to my truck.
I learned my engine has run for 233 hours. My odometer reads 4241. Using the equation of miles/engine hours, I get an average speed for the life of the truck of 18.20 miles per engine hour.
The common standard is the higher the number, the better (i.e. highway miles are easier on the engine/drivetrain.
Since my truck is mainly a snowplow and boat launching truck, it makes sense as there is a lot of idling and low speed operation.
