Hello SilveradoSierra.com Enthusiasts!

A VERY special Thank You goes out to all members who are participating in the "LINK REMOVED - READ EDIT". This database is growing on a daily basis and I'm constantly trying to keep up with displaying the results.

For those looking for answers, here are the results that you can use to help determine "Will this fit?".
"LINK REMOVED - READ EDIT"

EDIT 9/16/2021 - After over 10 years of service, providing content, hosting documents and giving back to this amazing community, the owners of this page have decided that I am not worthy of maintaining Admin or Moderator rights for this site. I have busted by balls to give back to the SilveradoSierra community for a decade and the "thanks" I receive is

"I have heard wonderful things about you and your dedication to the site.

Unfortunately, we have to reserve the Admin permissions for those who are active in the community. You had not posted on the site in over a year.

I truly appreciate you.

Apparently, the owners do not care about those who helped build the site to where it is today. We are all expendable. And what makes the whole thing worse is that I did all of this out of the kindness of my heart to make it better for everyone. To this day, I have never received a single dime for anything that was done on SilveradoSierra.com. And for those who think that since I hadn't posted within the community for over a year, please reach out to any of the existing moderators and see what they have to say about that comment. We do so much more work behind the scenes that apparently it's not taken into consideration.

This EDIT is the most important of all. Why? Because I have removed the links that everyone is looking for. The links that helped thousands of individuals and brought thousands of new members to the site for the best content ever written by members, such as yourself, and for that, I PERSONALLY THANK YOU! I am not trying to screw anyone, but I can no longer support this forum and the horrible management that has become of it. I know that everyone can see what has happened since Austin sold the site years ago. I'm sure he regrets it.

I thank you all for your support over the last 11 years, but until there is some sort of appreciation from the owners of the site to the staff that built this site to where it is, there is no way that I can continue to support the madness. The multiple Facebook groups that I have maintained over the years and STILL DO will be shut down as well. The thousands of members on FB that are constantly being promoted to join this forum will cease (VS holds no value in that either apparently).

I would love to continue to be a part of the Admin team here at SilveradoSierra.com, but this was the final straw. The Mod team has dealt with so much BS over the years and now with this change, SilveradoSierra.com does NOT deserve the well rounded, educated, professional team of Moderators that it has today. This is the best group of guys that has helped the site for years. Their knowledge of trucks and running the forum is second to none and they deserve the world. Yet, they get nothing. This is all free work that VS has received from all of our Moderators that have made the company tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. As a side note, about 5-6 years ago, I put an offer on the table to purchase the side back from AutoGuide for $175k and was turned down (this is significantly more than what they purchased it for). So, apparently this site is a cash cow.

Who knows what will happen to me once this updated post is read by the VS team, and personally, I don't care at this point. I've given everything and they stabbed me in the back. That's what I received for the decade of helping build the site, a knife in my back!!! Thanks VS...

EDIT The database has been updated as of 3/20/2014 with a LIVE form, no need for me to continue updating it. There are over 310 entries.... THANK YOU!!!!! Within this form, you should have the ability to filter the results just like you would if you were to use an Excel spreadsheet. This means that you can narrow the results by year/model/lift/lowered etc. I hope you all enjoy this.

EDIT PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST ACCESS TO THE FILE, I WILL NOT GRANT IT. Thank you.

Please do your research first before asking questions, most likely, your question can be answered with a quick search and scan of this file. If you still can't find your answers, please feel free to post your question.

Thank you members for your continued support and to our new members, WELCOME!

Enjoy!

I’m interested in installing stock ~2018 (give or take a few model years) 18” Silverado or Sierra wheels with the stock 265/65R18 onto my stock 2004 Silverado 1500 2WD. There’s a lot of these modern wheels for sale on the typical websites.
From what I can gather online:
a) The 2004 stock 16" wheels are 7”wide with approx. 5-3/4” backspace.
b) The 2018-ish 18" wheels are 8-1/2”wide with 7-1/2” backspace.
I'm concerned about the 1-3/4” increased backspacing. Will the wheels/tires rub against anything?
If anybody has performed this swap, I’d appreciate any info. Thanks.
