I added the back up camera. It gets you Apple CarPlay too. It's not cheap but looks factory and retains all the OEM steering wheels controls without any special adaptors. It's plug and play.
I don't have recommendation for a specific head unit, but I will add this bit of advice. Look around carefully and check out all the little features of each H/U before buying. I made the mistake of hurriedly buying one years back that had a couple of annoyances, enough that I actually ended up buying a second H/U to get all the features working the way I wanted them to.
There are many subtle differences between each H/U. It may be the hookups, or the display of menu items, or Bluetooth function, or the viewing/scrolling of song lists, etc, etc etc. Make sure it is gonna be something you will enjoy using.
Man, i didnt think it would be such a headache. I just want blue tooth and a backup camera compatibility. I will go to best buy or somewhere and see what all they have to offer.
^ I have to agree. I purchased a second stereo after my first aftermarket stereo shit the bed. I was in a hurry and have been disgusted about it ever since. Take your time, do it right the first time!
