Greetings All,
I've recently became a GMC owner and this is my first post. I have a 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation (Double Cab), 5.3L V8, 4x4 that needs a windshield replacement. After a few online searches, it appears I am getting conflicting information as to the correct fitment part number. These are the results I am getting as to the proper fitment/non-fitment:
-Windshield GM 84209828 (Correct part according to gmpartsonline.net)
-Windshield GM 84593337 (Incorrect part according to gmpartsonline.net but Correct part based on my local GM dealership parts department)
I believe that I have a possible reason for the discrepancy, perhaps having to do with the old body style vs the new body style that were produced in 2019. I am trying to clear any doubt as this replacement is being paid by the non-GMC dealership where I bought my truck and I am negotiating with them for the OEM part instead of an aftermarket brand replacement. Thanks in advance for your input and assistance.
