towing, trailer brake controller

Has anyone had any experience with the Curt Echo plug-in controller? I have a 2020 Silverado Crew Cab, 5.3 V-8, will tow a 5500 lb. travel trailer. Is this a good controller? Should I get the dealer-installed controller?

The "dealer installed" aftermarket controller, ( not one integrated in the dash, because you can't do it after the truck was built,) is, in all likelihood a Curt.
I have a Tekonsha Prodigy 3. Easy to install, works great.

I had a Tekonsha Prodigy 3 on my previous dually and loved it. It is proportional and IMO is the way to go when you want a controlled stopping experience.

I've heard that the Tekonsha is a good one and the factory one can't be installed later as mentioned above.
