This 2006 Silverado is a survivor. Not many northern trucks are still this solid, or with this low mileage. There is some rust on the frame, but nothing structural - much of the factory coating is still there. There are dings and scratches, but the previous owner (and myself) have taken really good care of this truck.

This is a 2 wheel drive truck. 4.8 liter V8 motor, 4l60e transmission, 3.23 rear end.

Being a work truck model, this has manual windows and locks. It does have dual zone air conditioning and cruise control.

The rear seat is gone, and I have moved the spare tire to that area. I had planned to lower the truck, but changed my mind. The ecm has a Blackbear 87 octane tune - This makes it much better as a driver. I have installed adjustable Rancho shocks front and rear. There was a newer style JVC stereo installed by the previous owner. I had new Hankook tires installed about 5000 miles ago.

Before buying this truck, I looked at southern trucks. The ones that I found down south were baked so badly by the sun that the paint and interior were trashed. This truck’s interior and paint still look really good.

If you are looking for a cheap truck that has spent it’s life dripping road salt, this is not the truck for you. If you are looking for a solid platform to take care of/build on, this might be for you.

97,400 miles.

I still drive the truck when the roads are clear, so the mileage will go up a little until sold.
