I've made a facebook bot which decodes VINs. It uses Edmund API, so it mostly for US market. Try it guys - https://vindecoder.online
It's my first bot, so if you have any suggestions feel free to email me

VinAudit is also a reliable VIN decoder that checks accident records, ownership records, sale records, lien/theft records, etc for just $4.99 using their coupon http://www.vinaudit.com/coupon=JQEFR50OFF. If you are a dealer,it is best to avail their lifetime $1/report when you signup.

I entered my VIN 1GCEK19B06Z290867 into the decoder on the Decode this website but I don't know the trim level to select for my truck. It is a GFX special ed and that's all I know about it. The door sticker only gives me the model # k15753. Any help to figure out my specs would be appreciated. thnx

Years ago I was able to get a actual vin code check of the GM I owned. Is there one that actually throws the actual vehicle vin record of this vehicle I just bought? Most of the sites I go to are pay, or are somewhat generic.
Thanks, in advance.

Steve: You can go to your dealer and he could print you out a "Build Sheet" for your truck. However, some won't do it. I got mine by requesting one from a GM Social Media rep that used to be active on the forum, but I haven't seen them for years. The email address I used to get the build sheet was: [email protected]
