Re: how to get a build sheet

Agreed, did the same and had a very friendly and quick response.

Only oddity on mine was the statement "Gross Vehicle Weight (rating): 4,177" which I think is really payload.
And my truck was built on a Tuesday! Win! :)

This service is the way to go for your truck... but I still recommend CompNine (as stated earlier in this thread) if you are truck shopping and need builds for multiple vehicles. It saved me from driving to see a non-G80 2500HD. The only thing CompNine got wrong on mine is it claimed my wheel flares were black.
In the real world, things often suck.

I received a reply with build sheet for my 2004 Silverado in just under 2 hours. Pretty fantastic if you ask me.

I think you will probably get one back, however, I haven't seen a GM rep active on this forum for a couple years.

I requested one last Tuesday for my new truck and received a response on Friday. So someone is still there doing things.

I have a fulltime subscription to Compnine so I can run vins at any time. I do it a lot so I figured why not lol. Sometimes some pro's are undefined but I can find the unknowns online easily enough or with the GM master list i have.

I just sent a request for the build sheet for my 2015 Silverado 1500 LT. Need to know what the MyLink includes. Fingers crossed. :D

Shouldn't need the build sheet for that....Glove Box RPO Codes will tell you....I03, I05 or I06...
I03 is the small screen. I05 gives you BlondeStar turn by turn Navigation, or you might have the "factory" Nav capability with maps that have to be updated via disc or thumb drive, but that's it.

I had I05, but I upgraded to I06 because I wanted Android Auto. Cost me $600.

Thanks roo. I have 2 'I' codes - 05 & 15. My screen display does not show any Nav icon at all. OnStar Nav only, and there are no map or address enter function associated with that. I also just want the build sheet for my permanent record so I'll know what all the standard and option pieces are when I sell it in about 4 years. The color of your truck looks similar to mine - Slate Grey Metallic.

I used the instructions in this thread and got my build sheet as well. I have i05 in my LTZ, maybe I will upgrade to i06 like you did as well... We will see... Android Auto would be nice to have.
