The aftermath of the last time I allow a person to smoke in my ride... - I was going to post this after reading it.

All the more reason NOBODY is aloud to smoke in my truck. Between the fire and smoke smell, nobody is aloud near my truck with a cigar, cigarette, anything.

Yeah i don't let no one smoke in the 14 now... that fire was too much, a wake up call that u can't trust everyone with a cigar to put it out right and not on the seat...

The only time you should smoke is when you are on fire and you see how well that went! Good luck with the new ride!

Damn that sucks! Another reason to not allow smoking in the vehicles (or house).

I smoke, bur never smoke in my new truck. I did smoke in my old truck which was a N*** Frontier... I had burn marks on the carpet, on the seats, all over the place. Worst was the yellow tinge of crap all over the headliner/windows and such. It never did catch fire and never even smoldered. Makes one wonder if GM is using decent fire resistant material? That old N*** should have gone up in flames more times than once with all the cigarettes I dropped on the floor while driving.

Now that I'm older I agree no smoking at all is the best policy in the truck or the house. Just not worth the damage it can and will do.

Yeah i hear u str8 up... these 2 guys weren't the only ones like that... apparently ever since i first got my truck folk think I'm the answer to their prayers... either its helping them move/haul something, or take them around while they expect to pay 4-cylinder gas prices.... it doesn't work like that tho... So yeah I'm working on staying clear from all issues and leaving these folk alone...
