I just ordered new tires from TireBuyer. They should be delivered to a local installer in 3-5 business days. 285/65/20 BFG's Image

New struts/springs, upper control arms, lower ball joints, and tie rod ends. Lower ball joints are not the most pleasant things to change....

Loaded my Uncle's truck up and carried back to West Texas, after some shut eye will continue the journey to Az. 1,153 miles total one way. 608 miles for the trip back. Altogether 2,316 miles. ImageImage

So I finally had some time today after work to get under the truck and change the rear diff fluid with Amsoil 75W90 Severe gear. Now I need to find time for the front and transfer case.

Since I had some time this morning I changed the Front differential and Transfer case fluids to go along with the rear differential fluid from a few days ago. Everything went nice and smooth except for the fact that I have the plow mount on the front so it was a bit difficult to get under the truck from the front so I did it from behind the front wheels. Just dropped the belly pan (the [4] 10mm bolts) and left the 15mm in place. Gave me plenty of access to do what I needed.

It was a beautiful day in central Texas, so I washed the truck.

Had a brake fluid leak at the caliper that was causing mushy brake pedal and made a mess of the underside of my truck.. turned out was just a loose line.

However, while dealin with that, noted a slew of parts that should be replaced to freshen up the rig a bit.
Made an appointment for this Friday with my mechanic to install slotted rotors, new brake pads, adjust rear lines, and brand new inner & outer tie rods (had some torn boots on my old ends).

I'll get an alignment after that, air up the tires, and the rig should be solid through this winter season. :D
