Ran the wires under the driver's side sill plates and up thru the A pillar. Had to make a compound angle in the aluminum but it turned out well. Once I'm sure I have it adjusted for the best viewing angle, I'll paint it satin black and tidy-up the wire.

Nice install Gary. That rear pillar is a "C" pillar. (edit...re-reading this...guessing you meant you ran the wires down...then along the sill and then up the A pillar in the front?) Why not above in the headliner?

I like the bracket...and even though off center...should still show a good clear rear view. Wish I had one on mine at times when people are doing dumb stuff behind me...

Late post, but I washed the truck on Sunday and got it somewhat dirty yesterday.
Quick trip up to Big Sur, CA. Went around 0900 so it was still pretty cloudy. Sun came out after 1100 in time for lunch at Pfeiffer Beach.

Thanks again Dave!
Yeah I would love to take the truck out for more outings as well. My copilot(GF) and I have different work schedules most of the times (we're both nurses).
I need more pics. I normally don't take pics of the truck. 90% of the time it's her taking pics of it  I think next stop is going to be Hollister Hills SVRA but it gets full fast on the wknds. Most of my buds have toyotas so I'm usually the only Chevy.

Nice! Toyotas is where I started as well lol. I had a 2nd gen T4R back in 2005. I've always wanted a 1st gen T****a access cab. Every now and then I'll window shop for one.. They weigh as much as the new tacomas but w/ a V8.

I know that feeling....but for me, way over in salty road land, the project is rust...lol

I found a nice 9" crack in a rocker panel yesterday, just waiting to flake off as a chunk and leave a hole....no more homestyle repairs, they need to be cut out and replaced. Let me just pull that $2k or so from my money tree...lol

I rewired my under bed rail light (from factory) to run off of my second battery. So that if I leave them ow most of the night while fishing, they want run down my start battery.
