Thanks.

Took it out for a test drive a little after and it held up well. The hitch part itself is a little sloppy in the receiver so the pole moves side to side a bit but sure not bad for amazonium tho

Not really what I did to my rig today, but more what I did for my rig today...

Actually, I picked up my Walker, made in the USA, serialized, 1.25 ton hydraulic floor jack from repair.
I bought the jack new in 1971, so after 49 years, it finally needed repair. It cost me $265 to repair the jack, which I'm sure is probably about twice what I paid for it new, but the parts were still available to repair it, and I'm sure, as I was told, it's probably good for another 49 years. With that goal in mind, it will outlast me, and I'll be able to pass it on to a worthy friend or relative.

Thanks to Hydraulic Service and Repair in Dallas, Texas for a job well done!!!

Although we don't have many bitchin' cold days here in central Texas, my hands, and especially my fingers cannot take the cold, and I've been looking to mod the truck with a heated steering wheel, as I prefer not to drive with gloves on.
Today I scored a new take-off heated steering wheel from Facebook Marketplace for $90, and found the Clock Spring on Ebay for $35.

Is it just plug and play to get the heated wheel working or do you need extra wires or plugs?

Nevermind I see instructions here

I'm surprised the steering wheel is that cheap new
