Damn that battery didn't last long.
Did it just die on you or did you just replace it even though it was still ok?
My original in this truck lasted till Sept 2020 with around 45,000 miles on the truck.

New Cooper Wayfarer tires in 245/70/R17, balance, and alignment. The original owner had Chinese Jinyus in 245/65/R17 for some reason; maybe cheaper than OEM sizing? The fronts were worn out, but I kept the rears to resell. I guess he skipped rotating them towards the end of his ownership.

Just driving back roads to my house 3 miles away and they feel smoother. Interested to see how many miles I can get out of them!

I had several bouts of turning the key and nothing but clicks. I carry a battery pack and and used it to start the engine. I would put a maintenance trickle charge on over night which would be good for a day or two. This happened several times along with slow starts. Battery test found it to be low in health. Had code for low voltage. So far new battery has restored back to like new starting. Three years of long cold Minnesota winters took it's toll. My OEM batteries usually last longer than three years. Not this time!

Just finished up changing my rear end oil. Was pretty clean, with nothing to speak of on the magnet. It was time, with 120K miles.

If anyone is interested the gasket for the G80, 14 bolt rear end is PN: 22943110.
