just wondering the "why" i guess

The JLT Performance oil catch cans are only three ounces. When I first put it on in cold weather it had approximately 1.5 oz. of milky oil after about 150 miles. At that rate it would be full around 300 miles. The extension adds another 3 oz. I use Elite Engineering oil catch cans on my corvettes and they are about 11 oz. I like the JLT for their included oem hose connectors for my Silverado setup. Now that it is starting to warm up outside I am hoping the water condensation will slow down.

New shoes on the ride. Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP 275 70 18s. Rough Country level kit (Under strut spacers). Got front Pass/Driver windows tinted 2 weeks ago. Also got 5% brow strip. They wouldn't do black vinyl, but its good enough. Finally got my truck just how I want it.ImageImageImageImage

Had to have the passenger side rear tire repaired and rebalanced. It has been losing air at about 2 or 3 psi a week and I finally last night saw a big hex head screw or bolt was stuck in the middle of the tread.
Thanks to Sams Club the plug and patch repair was free and no damage at all to the wheel was done. I admit I was a little nervous they might scar up my black wheels so I took a pic before they took it into the shop.

Finally got around to installing my philips led reverse and license plate lights, now i need to drive it at night to see if they made a difference lol. Then installed my new weathertech screwleds mud flaps, that went well (today i noticed they rub a little on a reverse left turn with stock wheel size but fuel blitz -1 offset wheels. Just need to file a lip on the driver's front to fix that i believe. Also installed the tailgate ladder to round out the last of the Christmas gifts. The ladder is nice, but now causes the tailgate to push through the soft open feature...i may pull the quick release pins and set it inside the bed until i need it to avoid this issue. Pics to come later when i get around to it lol.

Would like to wash the pollen off mine as well....but It's "watercraft weekend" for me....getting the boat and SeaDoo cleaned up and ready for a summer of fun! (Already late...) I rented a slip with a boat lift this year, so I don't have to rely on my wife to launch the boat. I can disappear at will! LOL!!!

X 3 !!
Too much around the house chores to do this weekend to get it cleaned.
Have a small burn pile to ignite, get pool ready/cleaned, another mowing session of 4-acres and put up an electric hot wire to keep new dog from going into neighbors yard/pasture ( he has chickens the dog likes to play? with).

going to be starting the early phase work for my NH oil undercoating this evening. gonna be working on manual rust/dirt buildup removal with the wheels and the needle scaler.

also gonna (finally) try to get the new spare hung - the old one was being sticky and we hit it with lube a couple weeks ago to see if she'll free up.
