Why the heck not?

Postby Tatsngats [OP] » Jan 16 2020, 5:57pm

I haven’t seen or used Kirkland brand oil before, but just like all other Kirkland brand stuff I’m sure it’s just a rebranded major manufacturer. Anyway, $25 for two 5 qt bottles of full synthetic oil is too good to pass up. I’m going to be able to do 2 full oil changes for under $30 each!

Yep. It's basically the same thing. Good for cheap synthetic oil.

Thanks for the tip. Just picked up three 2 packs. Pretty sweet deal for me and my 2014 Silverado.

10 quarts for $25 is compelling. Looks like it may be even cheaper in store if your local Costco stocks it.

If it truly is blended/made by Warren it's very good oil. Go to BITOG.com for more.

WallyWorlds SuperTech is from Warren also. I used SuperTech 15W40 in my D***e/Cummins diesel for 20 years without an oil related problem. Almost 600,000 miles between those trucks. In my 2016 Silverado, I now use SuperTech 0W20 full synthetic engine oil, SuperTech dexron ATF in my 6 speed and transfer case, and SuperTech 75W90 gear lube in the diffs. 8-)
