Got a little project going this week. Nothing too major. Just a friend of my father's 2012 denali duramax getting some work done. He has right around 136k on it and got the usual cleaning exhaust filter message that won't go away and then the truck derates.

Dealer banged him $1300 in nox sensors, a BS dpf cleaning spray, and labor. They then wanted over $3300 for a new DPF/SCR setup. I'll be fixing him up so that won't happen again. He also wants a 3" "lift" but I'm trying to steer him away from that.

Truck is sort of clean again. Got the salt washed off anyway. The undercarriage attachment I got works awesome. Really makes it easy to clean the back side of the rockers. Image

Since I was ordering a new monitor for the guys truck I am working on, I opted to upgrade mine as well. I had the cts2, and now went to the newer cts3.

I like the screen on the cts3 better already. The user interface is also much nicer. It is quicker to respond, colors are better, and the time it takes for it to turn on is almost instant Image

Never had anything else but I like the cts3. Easy to set up etc., even for a hi tech challenged old geezer.

That was pretty fast on the transmission. Ready to see some numbers when you really give it the sauce.. we also need some good videos!

I wanted a screen when I got the diablo but was not sure if it would dim enough for me. That looks pretty bright

The camera makes it look much brighter.

It dims down to about the brightness I have my dash at night, which is a little below half on the dial. Then in daytime it gets plenty bright to see.

And yeah I was pleased with how quick they got it out the door. Most places say a 2-6 week lead time. Mine was 7 days exactly when when I placed the order to the time it shipped.

Not sure if it will get here this week or not, since it's on a freight truck from California, but in either case, I plan to install it next weekend. I got my fluid coming, and my transfer case gasket.

Oh ok not bad then.

Yeah, I figured at least 2 weeks.

I bought something off of a member here and it took exactly 1 month to get from Las Vegas area to arkansas. I hope you have better luck.

Finally had the time to check your progress.

Nice updates and looking forward to see what numbers you´re putting down with the new trans.

Whats happening to the CTS2? Lol

As usual lol

I´m somewhat happy with my Banks IDash but a CTS2 would be way cooler I think. Not sure if I like the Cts3 enough for that pricetag since I still have a working monitor and I can play solitair on it.. good old windows days lol
