Looks like the BDS kits are basically built to order at this point according to liftkits4less. They said they are seeing around 20-25 day processing/build time from the day the order is placed.

Hopefully I'll get it before I leave the first week of May for obx. I'd love to see how those bad boys will do on the beach lol.

Should have my tie rods next week on Wednesday or so.

Also started my spring clean if the truck. Took the fender liners out and pressure washed them. Washed out the bed sides and wheel wells. Tomorrow I still need to flush out the rockers and then re-apply some fluid film to the bed sides and rockers.

Then I'll touch up a couple spots on the frame with some fresh paint after a hit with the wire wheel. Mainly just a few dings on the passenger side frame behind the tires where all the rocks and such get thrown. And then a spot on the drivers side in the wheel well area. Other than that, it seems like the made it though winter pretty nicely. And we had a TON of salt and crap this year.

Finally I will do a full service, all the fuel filters, oil filter, oil, grease, etc.

Thinking about changing to the Donaldson filter on upcoming oil change. What adaptor do I need and what Donaldson filter do I need?

Filter is the DBL7483. Check around at local heavy duty truck shops as they might be able to get the best price. But they are also available online obviously.

The adapter is the same as the one used for cat filters. I got mine off ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293987342272

Some guys run the cat filters for oil too but the donaldson definitely is the best out there for a single filter from the specs and tear down that I saw over on the duramax forum.

It also adds 2 quarts to the system. 3 gallons is a perfect fill.

Nice. You'll have to let me know how the sump install goes.

In the future I may swap to a 165gph pump and go with a sump. When I get bigger injectors and either bigger, or a dual cp3, I think my 95gph will be about maxed out as far as what it can supply.

I just run the draw straw now and have no issues. Truck will hold rail pressure at wot no problem.

Yep, I read earlier where you installed the draw straw but thought I would do the sump because it will be easier to install. Getting the GRP single hole with return pipe. I'll run down low on fuel and then install. Just ordered the filter and adaptor. Thanks.

Ordered another cheaper little addition to the truck.

Got the WCFab lower valance filler panel. So I can get rid of the stupid air dam under the front bumper and still have the area around the tow hooks filled in. Will give a little more room for tires as well. Should look good since then you'll be able to see the coilovers and BDS skid plates from the front as well.
