Not on high idle. That's part of how it warms up so quick. It adds back pressure with the turbo and enguages the torque converter to also warm the trans up and add engine load.

On warm idle it's a real deep rumble.

Unless you mean a lope tune. Which I cant say I've seen too many guys do anymore.

Yeah that's it's normal idle sound once its warmed up. So sitting at a stop light it sounds like that and just in park it does too obviously.

Really the only time you get the hiss or whistle is when you first start it the vanes will sweep. Then in high idle. Other than that it's the rumble. It will get less hiss/whistle once the resonator goes on as well. Not much but will take the edge off.

The trans is getting much better. I didnt reset the shift parameters, I'm just letting it learn. So far its doing pretty good at learning the new power level.

I've been running tune 4, which is my sport/economy tune. I still havent gotten into it all the way yet but it pulls so much harder and quicker than before. Even bigger of a difference than any tune on my 17 ever was. Even in responsiveness. It spools so much nicer and has more power through all the gears. And it is still very easy to drive like a grandpa if you wanted.

Fixed the broken block heater plug this morning. Likely won't use it hardly ever, but wanted the option if I needed it.

The factory plug broke the ground prong off.

I put a nice water sealed end on it. I also made a nice heavy duty cord to go with it that has the matching water sealed connections on it. Probably overkill, but that's my middle name lol. ImageImageImage

That is a heavy duty cable! The wire to the block looks to puny in comparison.

Yeah its definitely WAY over kill. But I had a section of that cable for years and it is just about the right length to go from my garage to where I park haha. It's too heavy to use as a normal extension cord for working on anything so I figured it's good for this.

I had originally made a 75 foot cord with that wire for generator use for my fridge should the power go out. That one doesnt get moved unless its needed. And this was left over from that project.

Got a quick video of the exhaust while driving. Towards the end wasn't quite full throttle. I started getting into it but I forgot to shut off traction control so you can hear it when the wheels broke free then it comes down since it started pulling power away to stop the wheel spin.
