Yeah I love the sounds too. I will have to do an in cab video as well.

Also need to do a before and after resonator video to compare the sound.

Subbed!
Loving the Sound of a 5" Straight Pipe! Had one on my LB7 for three weeks but did some longer trips and it developed a pretty annoying drone right at normal cruise rpm.. Threw it off for the Holiday drive and ordered a Flo-Pro Muffler for it. Now I just Need to put it back on and the drone should be gone

Yeah I love the sound. Inwas actually surprised at the volume. It really isnt that loud. Has a very deep tone to it so maybe it's just that.

But I thought about getting the system with a muffler, but I didnt feel like it would sound the way I wanted. And I can always add one if I needed to.

I'm going with a 17" FTE resonator. Supposed to keep the sound basically the same but just kill the drone. Which oddly enough has gotten less now that its been on there for a bit. Still there though, just the window where it does it, is much smaller.

Mine isn´t too loud but the deep tone makes it loud in a quiet Environment.
Driving through narrow village streets all People turned heads just from rolling along.. would have gotten me in Trouble with the law so a Resonator is the way to go.

Mine is a 24" Flo-Pro which should tone it down a bit.
Still not sure what to do about the stainless steel finish.. I don´t like it but high temp paint gets dirty fast so I´ll see what I´m doing there
Are you keeping the look?

Yeah I probably wont even run a tip. I tried the one I have for it and it looks weird. So I'll probally just leave it as is. I'll have to see how the 409 stainless holds up. Hopefully itll be ok but I have a feeling it will corrode.

If it does, I'll take it off and clean it up, then paint it a flat silver or something

Some parts might be getting ordered pretty soon. I definitely want to get the cp3 conversion ordered.

I am just torn between doing a full blown high flow intake and exhaust setup or getting just the blocker plates and the ordering some wheels and tires.

I dont have the cash at the moment to do both, but I'm leaning towards the intake stuff, which combined with the cp3 conversion, will have the motor basically where I want it as far as reliability goes.

Another option is to have my stock wheels stripped and re-chromed, then get a set of tires for them. Which that I may be able to swing. Only issue with that is, I cant be without transportation while they are getting done. And I dont have anyone who has a set of 8x180 wheels I could use in the mean time. So I'd need to buy a cheap used set to run, then sell them. Or just buy a nicer set of stock takeoffs.

Personally I would skip out on the wheels for now too much hassle, and instead get the intake stuff and the cp3 conversion ordered

Cp3 will be ordered no matter what.

Depending what intake stuff I go with it will end up being around $2k-2500 or maybe a little more if I really go all in and do the entire exhaust setup. Really none of it is essential but it makes it SO much nicer under the hood lol.

I know what you mean it would be nice to go ahead and just order all of it hot and cold intercooler piping, coolant tank, turbo mouth piece, intake, and whatever else comes in the complete kit.

Any idea on a color scheme? white would be nice or a candy red maybe

oh and yes you need it, its essential
