Add up everything you spend on the stock truck so far. I’m gonna guess 12k

Dang it. See what you made me do lol.

Well here is a rough tally of what I've done so far. Obviously the traction bars and mirrors arent done just yet.

Also doesn't include any maintenance items like fluid changes and the paint. But that would be done regardless so I don't factor that in anyway.

Tune - $1,400
Exhaust - $640
Downpipe - $250
Intake bundle - $2,475
Cp3 conversion - $1,675
Headlights - $290
Control arms w/shocks - $1,000
Wheel/tires - $2,975
Traction bars - $600
Cts2 monitor - $370
Lift pump - $745
Mirror lenses - $40
Switch backs - $120
Tint - $80

Total - $12,660

Nice. Sure makes an LBZ look a lot more attractive for someone considering a diesel and wants a similar setup. No need for the delete and already has a CP3.

Yup.

But realistically, if someone didnt want all the fancy piping and all, it could be done WAY cheaper Haha.

Figure around $1100-1200 for a cp3 conversion with a stock pump. Tuning would be the same for either truck but for a single tune you can find them for around $600-800 depending on what you want.

Then an exhaust can be done much cheaper for around $100-200 for a race pipe.

The rest is optional really. So for say $2200 on the higher end, you can have a rock solid truck.

Still a little more than say an LBZ, but you'll also get the much more capable chassis to go along with it. The 2011+ HD trucks are so much more beefy than the previous gen HD trucks.

But the purchase price for an LML, especially a k2xx truck, will be significantly higher to begin with though. The gmt900 trucks wouldnt interest me whatsoever. I'd rather go with a gmt800 lol.

But either way you cut it, the diesels will be more expensive
