Believe it or not, that whole row of squares belongs to my buddies dad. He owns the farm and those are all kept in the barn there.

They are all super clean. Not a spec of rust on any of them. I'm not a particular fan of the huge lifts on some of them, but thats removable haha. He has a a few more that he actually drives daily. One is a 86 dually with a cummins 6bt swap.

final question on tires Eric, I pretty much have narrowed it down to the Open Country A/T III 285/75 R18 or the 295/70 R18 for my truck 285 is a little taller closer to 35, but both are 11 inches wide, they both will fit with just the 2" level?

The 100% safe option to avoid any possible rubbing on anything is the 285/75r18.

I have 35x12.5r20 on mine as you know and they rub the control arms a little at full turn.

So realistically I think you'd be fine with either one, but to play it safe, I think the 285s would be the choice I'd go with to be certain it won't rub.

Nice, I was leaning to the 285/75 anyway, they are a little taller, but same width. Thank you!!!

No problem. You'll love the way they fill out the wheel well.

No pics because it was dark, but I swapped my wheels around and got the bed sides and rockers washed out real good.

Sprayed the bed sides and tail light boxes with acf50. The rockers were still dripping a little so they will wait till tomorrow then get the same treatment. May use wool wax for them. Not sure yet. Control arms will also get a coat of acf50.

Just waiting on my mud flaps, which should be here Tuesday or Wednesday.

I also acquired a air horn off a truck that got scrapped at work. Found an old 12 volt solenoid valve I had in my spare parts bin and bought some air line. Will mount that up for the heck of it. Costed me practically nothing so may as well make use of it.
