There might be some changes to the truck coming in the next week or two. Or at least arriving in the next week or so.

Haven't fully decided yet, but RDS is having a decent sale on turbos. Looking at their 66mm unit. I was looking at lifts obviously like I mentioned previously, but I haven't seen any good sales announced yet.

If I see a good sale I may buy my lift instead of the turbo. But if not, I'll order the turbo instead.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. Whichever, I'm sure you'll enjoy it and we'll enjoy watching your installation. Happy Thanksgiving.

66mm turbo is ordered. Should be pretty nasty in both sound and performance.

What’s the stock size? How much of a bump in performance do you expect?

Stock is 60mm for the compressor side.

But they have the smallest exhasut side of all the motors in the series. That's done partly to increase boost response and exhasut brake performance. But much over 29-30psi they lose efficiency and the intake temps go way up.

Performance wise, most guys with similar fueling to what I have, make around 625ish to the wheels. Thats with a built trans though. I won't be able to make that otherwise ill roast the trans out of it lol. So tuning will be toned down a little until I get my trans.

That's quite a jump in HP. When leaving our ranch we have a mile of dirt road before getting to the highway and I would probably be sticking my foot in it every time I got onto the pavement just to feel the power. Congratulations and Happy Thanksgiving.

Yeah the turbo on the LML motors specifically is kind of the main limiting factor to break into bigger power.

They made it basically as small as possible while still being able to achieve the power numbers they have stock.

Really where I'm at now, the turbo was giving its all. Intake temps start to climb and it basically becomes a hot air pump if you try and push them too far.

66mm is bigger than is really needed, but with good tuning, it will spool nearly like stock and has room for me to grow before I hit its max.

Generally with a 66mm VGT turbo, with supporting fuel mods, guys see around 700hp.

My goal eventually is a reliable 700. But realistically, that's going to take injectors, probably at least 60% overs, and likely a 10mm cp3. And obviously a trans to be able to put it down reliably.

But besides a trans, I'm probably done with power adders for a while. I still want to do a lift next year haha.

Been doing quite a bit of driving lately. The more miles I put on the ko2s the less I like them.

Hopefully they do better in the snow than they do under normal driving conditions lol.

Dry traction is pretty poor. I'm not sure if its due to the softer compound or what. But it is very easy to get the back end loose with these tires compared to my toyos. And the bfgs are bigger so one would think they would be harder to break free.

Wet traction is similar to the toyos id say.

Really the only area I was pleased with how they performed was on the sand. So so far, I'm not honestly sure if I will buy 2 more to replace the used ones I have on the front. I'll have to see how they do in some snow before passing final judgment. But as of now, I'm less than impressed, especially given their reputation
