7Devils 06 Sierra 1500 Z71 Crew cab

Postby 7devilsoffroad [OP] » Feb 10 2018, 5:48am

Well, my first and most important mod-E-feecation waz the high speed bail O' hay in the bed.....
Seriously, I decided to see what it would take for the average guy to build a bumper with common tools. I took half a sheet of 3/16 A36 steel and began to build a bumper. I used cardboard for templates. My tools were a small plasma torch that I really didn't end up using much, a 4 inch grinder with cut offs, flappers, and grinding g wheels, as well as a 110 welder. Of course measurement and geometry tools were important to make all of it line up right. A notebook for measurements and drawing helps alot.
Feel free to critique.
