I spent ALOT ( I am very meticulous and over research all my purchases) of research on percentages, how it looked and the increased level of difficulty driving at night. I really liked 5% all around due to the looks and privacy, but countless people told me that had a lot of trouble driving at night. Watching one video on YouTube confirmed it and I didn’t want to deal with it. Another thing was that the higher qualities of tint don’t come in that low percentages.
After discussing with the tint specialist all my options and the features of how different levels of tint block out heat with a heat lamp display, I dropped off my truck and it was done in about 6 hours.
The brand of tint is called Xpel ceramic, which to my knowledge I thought they only did paint protection. I don’t have a number of the EXACT %, but I will give you a ball park. The pictures were done when I picked it up before everything cured.
I didn’t want to go as dark as the 35% on the windshield as a lot of people did with the 35%/5% so I went around 40-42%

The sides are probably between 10-15%

The rear is around 20% if I am not mistaken.

Overall I am very happy with the look and it does help a lot with the southern heat and I am sure will add protection for my leather interior.
