Yesterday evening I was able to apply the liner finally! Was pretty simple, just followed the directions that were included. Mix it up, add the activating compound, mix some more, then get to work. Took way longer to lay it down than I anticipated. But, I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I wanted it done right. I’d say it took right at 2 hours to do the whole bed plus the rails and tailgate. I’d say it turned out great as far as looks. Definitely not as thick as if you were to get a $500 spray in job, but for $20 I’ll take it. Only time will tell with how it holds up.

How thick did you get it? And can you add more over the top of that if needed?

Looks nice in the bed...certainly cleans up the old bed and for $20...score! Curious how the seams down the rails turned out. I imagine that is tricky.

I’d say I got 3 coats on the main part of the bed and the rails. It didn’t lay down as thick as I was expecting. Instructions say to cover drain holes, so I did, but found it wasn’t needed. They also said you can keep adding layers, but not sure if it’d work once it hardened up. I’ll get some better pics tomorrow of the edges, and close ups.

Few more pics from the edges. I’m happy with how straight the lines turned out, I know it’s hard to tell in the pics. Looked it over real good today, the texture is a little inconsistent. Can’t tell till you get up close, but I’m not bothered by it.ImageImage

Texture is a bit different than the pricey sfuff....but you lines do look really good!

Had some time today to give Ron some much needed attention. Vacuumed and cleaned up the inside. Then cleaned up the engine bay a bit. Possibly, Sunday I’ll be able to give him a proper exterior wash, because he’s filthy! ImageImage

Been a long while since an update. Mainly routine maintenance stuff. Put a new belt on last week, the old one was squealing like crazy.

Did add some HID and LED bulbs to the front end. Didn’t do much for the high beams, but the lows and fogs are nice and bright. Going to do the hi/low mod once I get the parts round up.

Also, keep getting a check engine light for the MAF sensor. Not sure if it’s because I have different air intake and a can tune? Or if I need a new MAF? I tried cleaning the sensor once, didn’t solve it[emoji848]

What did you clean the MAF with? It is fairly delicate sensor. There are specific MAF cleaners for it, CRC makes one (spray can type).
